When to reach for it — and when not to
We'd rather tell you this up front than have you find out on your hood. A waterless wash works by lubricating and lifting light dirt so it comes off in the towel. That's a real technique with real limits.

Before you buy
Will a waterless wash scratch my paint?
It comes down to technique, and we won't pretend otherwise. Clean & Seal is heavily lubricated so dirt lifts into the towel rather than dragging across the clear coat. Use it on a lightly soiled car, be generous with the spray, use a clean plush microfiber towel, and flip to a fresh side often.
If your car is covered in mud, sand, or heavy grit, rinse that off first. That's true of every waterless wash on the market, ours included.
Is this the same as a real ceramic coating?
No, and we won't tell you it is. A professional ceramic coating is a semi-permanent layer applied to prepped paint. Clean & Seal leaves ceramic sealants behind as you wipe — enough for gloss and water beading between washes, topped up every time you use it.
